scenic walks through rugged farmland and coastline are quite
literally on your doorstep. Step out the door and turn right, and
20 minutes later you could be in the Harbour Bar enjoying an
excellent pint of Guinness in front of a turf fire, turn left and
lose yourself in the beautiful Rosguill peninsula.

Golfers are well catered for, with the top quality Old Tom Morris
Golf Course and the new Sandy Hills Links Course at the Rosapenna
Hotel only 3km away. Water sports enthusiasts will find Downings
beach a windsurfing and kayaking paradise, whilst the Mevagh Dive
Centre is in nearby Carrigart. Also in Carrigart is the Carrigart
Horse Riding Centre.
