Region Description
County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with
spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the
Atlantic Ocean, Kerry features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets
and stunning peninsulas, with plenty of opportunities for sailing,
fishing and boating tours. Inland, Kerry continues to delight,
with breathtaking mountains, lovely lakes and valleys offering
wonderful walking and cycling.

Town/Village Description
Located in the south of Ireland, the popular town of Killarney
offers an abundance of traditional pubs, fine restaurants, a
theatre and a host of good shops. Visitors can enjoy numerous
attractions including the celebrated 'Ladies' View', named after
Queen Victoria's ladies in waiting, and the MacGillicuddy Reeks,
Ireland's largest mountain range. It is also possible to hire a
horse-drawn jaunting car and explore the fabulous walks at the
National Park, or to enjoy the excellent fishing spots around the
local lakes. A number of sandy beaches are within half an hour's
drive, whilst the Ring of Kerry, the vibrant town of Tralee and
the stunning Dingle Peninsula are just a short trip away.

Cottage Description
This modern detached house is situated in the scattered hamlet of
Headfort, approximately five miles from Killarney in County Kerry.
Boasting views of the famous Mangerton Mountains, this spacious
property has been finished to an exceptional standard throughout
offering high-quality, well-equipped accommodation. There are six
large bedrooms - four with sliding doors leading to the garden -
and a charming sitting room with open fire and wall to wall
windows. The bustling town of Killarney is close by and provides
traditional pubs, restaurants, a theatre and a fabulous National
Park. There is also a wide selection of lovely sandy beaches
within easy driving distance.
