Region Description
County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with
spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the
Atlantic Ocean, Kerry features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets
and stunning peninsulas, with plenty of opportunities for sailing,
fishing and boating tours. Inland, Kerry continues to delight,
with breathtaking mountains, lovely lakes and valleys offering
wonderful walking and cycling.

Town/Village Description
The little town of Caherdaniel is a traditional Irish village
located in County Kerry. The history of the village dates back
more than 2000 years, due to the copper mining in the surrounding
mountains. Its magnificent coastal setting mean that the village
is perfectly placed for exploring all of the attractions in this
popular area. These include 'The Kerry Way' - a well-marked and
very beautiful walking route - and the pretty town of Kenmare
which can be reached in under an hour and boasts an excellent
variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Nature lovers will enjoy a
trip to Valentia Island, located on the north west corner of the
Ring of Kerry. This little island offers fantastic cliffs
overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is famed for its walking and
climbing.

Cottage Description
This traditional seaside cottage is just a mile from the village
of Caherdaniel in County Kerry and offers well equipped,
comfortable accommodation with plenty of living space. Ideal for
families or small groups who want an idyllic coastal setting,
there is a beach right on the doorstep. The property itself has a
timber beamed ceiling in the sitting room and boasts a lovely cosy
fireplace in addition to a well-equipped kitchen and four
bedrooms. Visitors to this lovely home from home are within easy
reach of all local amenities.
