Oyster Bay House is located on 70 acres of a working farm on Claggan Island which is accessed via a causeway.
The three bedroomed cottage has all modern conveniences. All linen is provided. The sitting room has
an stove fire and turf is provided. Claggan Island is approx five miles from Belmullet. The locality has
many attractions including Carne Golf Links, UISCE water sports at Elly Bay, Gateway Leisure Center, Art
and Cultural Festivals throughout the year and fishing and island trips. You can fish on the island for
Breem, Mackerel and Pollock. Scallops, cockles and winkles can be picked on the shore. Belmullet has
many excellent pubs famous for traditional music. Claggan Island is part of the Tir Saile - North Mayo
Sculpture Trail.
