sounds of a summer day in the West.
Town/Village Description
Carrick-on-Shannon is the county town of Leitrim. Internationally
regarded as an angler's paradise, Carrick has hosted many national
and international fishing competitions, and within a 6 mile
radius, there are no less than 41 fishing lakes to enjoy. The
lands around the county borders of Sligo, Roscommon and Leitrim
are amongst the most fascinating in Ireland with beautiful lakes
and surrounded by mountains.
Cottage Description
Carrick-on-Shannon House is a detached dormer house situated just
three miles from the county town of Carrick-on-Shannon in County
Leitrim. The cottage can sleep ten people across five bedrooms
(three doubles - one with an ensuite, one twin and one single with
a pull out bed) as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the
accommodation comprises an open plan living area with a fitted
kitchen, a dining area and two sitting rooms (one with an open
fire). To the outside of the cottage is a lawned garden with
outdoor furniture and a barbecue as well as off road parking for
six cars. With the Shannon River close by and with plenty of
stunning countryside to discover, Carrick-on-Shannon House is a
superb holiday home no matter what time of year you travel.
