What can I say. This was the perfect vacation home for us given its facilities, location and not forgetting the view (which was amazing).

The house is well equipped, modern, spacious and is actually better than the pictures portray believe it or not. It is the perfect combination of being close enough to town to pop in and pick things up, and far enough away to have peace and quiet.

The house is also well situated for loads of sightseeing within easy reach. We made trips to Dublin, Kilkenny, Carlow, Glendalough, Avoca, Arklow, Brittas Bay beach and Curracloe beach (possibly the best beach I have ever been on! and incidentally where they filmed the opening scenes to Saving Private Ryan). We also climbed Mount Leinster which was a challenge for not so fit amongst us.

The kids went mad in and around the house and area outside where they were safe to roam. Our elderly parents (one with a wheelchair)were at home with the downstairs bedrooms/bathroom and they loved every minute of the holiday and the house.

The owner is VERY helpful, nothing too much trouble, and the personal touches made our stay even more enjoyable. The local property management are just as good, and the meet and greet made everything so simple.

I just hope this review doesn't mean that next time we want to stay the house is already booked! If you are looking for a holiday home with panoramic views, great facilities and ideal location for getting around Wexford/Carlow/Wicklow look no further.
