Situated on the picturesque Hook Peninsula in the sunny south-east, this light and airy detached cottage is beautifully decorated and equipped to a 4 star standard. Hookless Village is very quiet and peaceful with fabulous surrounding beaches and countryside.

Downstairs is a bright, newly extended open plan kitchen come living room, black leather couches (with arm chair recliner!) and cosy open fire. Patio doors lead on to a large south facing wooden deck with sea views. The deck has been extended to get the sun as it sets in the evening, and is enclosed so is safe for children and pets. There is a washing machine, tumble drier and extra storage presses in the utility room. Also on this level is a big double bedroom with a bright en-suite bathroom, a king size solid oak frame bed and bedside lockers and a TV with a built in DVD player. There are two more bedrooms upstairs, one good sized twin bedroom, one smaller bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with bath/shower.

The house and village are ideal for cKhildren, with an enclosed astro turf football pitch, tennis court,
2 children's playgrounds and communal bbq area with picnic benches on site. The house also has stair gates, a high chair and a travel cot. It is situated a 5 minute walk to a secluded beach (Sandeel Bay) and 15 minute walk / 2 minute drive to a grocery shop. There are several beaches (including blue flag Duncannon beach), pubs and restaurants within a short driving distance and the area has lots of family orientated attractions. Hook Lighthouse is nearby with guided tours (7 min drive), cafe and art classes for children and adults. Diving, surfing, sea fishing, golf, horse riding and boat trips available locally. Great area for whale and dolphin watching. Diving centres and surf schools close-by, and the nearby famous Dunbrody House Hotel offers cookery classes and a luxury spa.

The house comes fully equipped with a new eye level double oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, children's travel cot, high chair and stair gates, patio furniture, 2 sun loungers, satellite TV with all the Irish channels/international, 2 DVD players, cd player/radio, and hairdryers. Selection of CDs and DVDs also supplied.

Bed lined provided, please bring your own towels. Electric heaters throughout the house and an open fire place in living room. Failte Ireland registered. Approx. two hours drive from south Dublin.
